Hi HH,

I am a proud owner of 2001 9-3 Aero Automatic with 23.000 km's on it. The car has been very realiable and pleasure to drive. Sure there is torque steering (old chassis, front wheel drive and tons of power)but in my opinion it's just make driving more challenging and fun. However I end it up to getting automatic since 5 spd was little too uneasy to me and you really prefer to have your both hands on the wheel when accelatering hard.

The chassis of 9-3 is old but on the other hand all the major issues have already been fixed i.e. car is very realiable. I would stay away from first year production car and wait maybe until 3rd year when all the major issues are solved but this just my opinion. Otherwise car has prettty much everything: excellent and comfortable power seats (driver's side with memory), GREEAAATT ACCELARATION, good fuel economy, leather, ACC, warmed seats, excelent driving lights, SID2, hatchback = great garco capability, extreamly cool alloy wheels, very good winter driving feature, and so on. Only cons what I have found is lousy stock stereo (it can be upgraded quite easily), little leg room for passangers and I like to have more storing space for small items.

Red is quite cool but not my first options (my 9-3 is silver). Red looks awful good when car is kept clean. Test drive a car and if you fell that it has your name on it then GO FOR IT!!!

Hope this helps and have a good weekend!!
