Good tires I would say. It is noticably harder to spin the Kumhos than spin the Pilot HX's. I have only had them on for about 4-6k miles, so I can't speak too well to their longevity, but they don't seem to be fazed after the time that I've had them. I used them in light snow a couple of times, and they are absolutely atrocious. If you are going to be driving in alot of snow, then don't wear these shoes all year around (you're not supposed to, anyway). I have managed through a combination of using my mother's Jeep and driving carefully, to make it through an entire Boston winter with the Kumhos. Once on a road with about 2-3 inches of untouched snow on it, the car started to swap ends on me, even though I was only going about 15mph. They recovered nicely. As an aside, I don't think the Kumhos are noticably worse in the snow than the Pilot HX's they replaced. The HX's were atrocious in the snow as well. The Kumhos seem to be a pretty good all around tire, and for 17 inch wheels, you can't really beat the price.
