I really have no need to - I use mapquest before I leave if I don't know where I'm going! In fact, to avoid the ridiculous charges that you eventually have to pay to use the onstar phone service (what is it? $35/30 minutes and it's also analog?!!!) I immediately bit the bullet and had a nokia hands-free kit installed. Yes, I have a second mic now, but it's up above my head, and is completely unobtrusive. I can also take my phone with me when I leave the car, and don't have to forward it or have multiple mobile numbers. Yes, if I ever break down or somehow manage to lock my keys in the car I'll use OnStar, but I just don't see the value until perhaps the car is out of warranty and you no longer get free roadside assistance. YMMV.
