So I was perusing the TSB database over at townsends and got to thinking . . .

My 9-3 is out of warranty, but what if I find a TSB that perfectly describes a problem my car has?

Should I simply be thankful that diagnosis and repair will be obvious thanks to this database or should Saab be responsible because of a known "flaw" regardless of warranty status?

I believe recall issues supersede warrant status but why don't technical service bulletens? Seems that TSB are simply "less urgent" recalls.

Just a thought . . . (although I'm pretty sure I know what to expect in response).
