Help, I'm driving an Alero

Last Thursday while on my way to a meeting I was nailed from behind by a driver who was not paying attention.
I was at a dead stop and the car that hit me was going approx. 80kph and he never hit the brakes. The amazing thing is that while his Camry was totally destroyed (engine under the front seat) I didn't even brake my tail lights and the hatch still opened. The seats worked great, I had no idea that I was hit that hard and due to the great brakes my car I only moved about 6 feet and I never touched the guy in front of me.
The body shop has told me that the frame is still perfect and even the cushions behind the bumper are intact. But, here is the freakin' killer....I have to wait 10 DAYS to get the parts.
It's killing me, I'm driving a freakin' brown 4dr Alero with an automatic tranny.
It's not right, why don't they rent Saabs.
