Here we go again, this is one of my favorite subjects to chime in on, since it always gets so heated. BMW makes a great car, awesome handling, great fit and finish, commendable performance to boot. A Saab is a different design philosophy-one based on torque rather than horsepower. BMW may have more of a track orientation, but it doesn't make it a better car. If you like to red-line your car at every shift then you will feel that the BMW has adequate power. If you pass at highway speeds, go up mountain passes, or like blasting out of corners, without having to crank up the RPMs, then only a Saab will satisfy. I like the new 330, and I could probably own it as a second car, but for everyday thrill, and fun, my viggen delivers everytime I drive. Saab is every bit as much a driver's car. Drive both back to back and then deside. Good luck.
