Ed, nice memory =) yes, i was looking at a 95 but per many people's suggestions including saabnet's BB's, I decided to go for the gold. I was looking at 2 9-3's--both the exact same car(cept one had 9k less on it). One of them i was going to be able to get certification (for 1500 extra) so i made a couple offers and the salesmen called me back and said not only did they refuse my offer but they sold the car out from under me.. needless to say, i was p!ssed! So i went back to the other one, wheeled and dealed and was able to get a 9-3 with 58k on it for $13,000 but without certification. I know it wasn't the BEST deal i could find, but i did buy it from a really great indie Saab shop here in Rochester. QUESTION: he offered my some plans for "warranty", more like "repair insurance". I can't recall the name of the place but it's $35 a month and they will fix everything except "normal wear" stuff. So i'm debating on whether i should jump on the bandwagon... ANY thoughts on that!??! thanks...
