Hi all. I recently found myself with a shredded back wiper blade. Due to distance from dealer, I went to a VW place, but they only had front Saab blades, so they replaced all three with the same (front-type) Bosch blades.
My question: is a slightly longer arm going to cause any problems? I do not notice any malfunction or interference and the VW mechanic says, if anything, it will wipe a larger surface. My doubt: if the same size works for all 3 wipers, why didn't Saab adopt just one type of interchangeable spare part for front and back?
Thanks for your help.

By the way, the Bosch wipers are smoother and quieter than the original ones.
