There may be another option yet: T5Boost4.com I have had one of these devices for a little under a year on my 99 9-3. Just plug it in, and after a couple hard accelerations the ECU learns the new fueling requirements. The torque increase ( from 16 to 20 psi) at 3krpm provides a fantastic push into the seat. Since the stock boost curve is retained, the boost tapers off at higher engine speeds giving about a 20hp increase at 5.5krpm. I have a Saab sport exhaust and a K&N filter.
