...with the head unit controls, you have to go with the unit manufactured for Saab by Pioneer. As teller and jc said, that is very expensive throught the dealer. One option to get one of these at a cheaper price is to buy one used from someone whose 9-3 is coming off lease (who bought the changer out of their own pocket). The only catch here is make VERY sure that the person you are buying it from knows that he must get the service tech at the dealer to "divorce" the changer from the car, which they can do in about 5 minutes with the Tech II diagnostic tool. This must be done, or it will not work with any other 9-3 (part of the theft protection design of the 9-3). Once the changer is divorced, it is easy to uninstall it from the original 9-3 and install it your 9-3. Then you just need to go to your Saab service tech and have him "marry" the changer to your car. They should not charge you much for this if you do the installation yourself.
