Just FYI, my Jetta had a lot of minor problems at first re plastic parts breaking. I think objects were just screwed in too tightly, maybe bad quality control at the Mexican plant for the initial Jettas. Then, the engine started idling rough and the dealer replaced the ignition coil pack, but still didn't solve the problem. Took it to a mom and pop shop that repaired Bosch system and they diagnosed the problem, only firing on four cylinders, but they couldn't solve the problem either. Finally the car started stalling in wet weather, decided to dump the car and got myself a SAAB. Been living a dream ever since, car-wise that is... Wonder who got stuck with that pile of $@#*?
