Ken,
You did not give enough information for a proper answer. If you are referring to a 2 or 4 door, then this price is crazy and you should walk, no run, away from the purchase price. If this is a convertable, the buy out price is closer, but still high, to what I would call acceptable, PROVIDED the car has every option available. Considering you can buy a brand new 2002 9-3 converable SE, loaded for $27K and drive it off the lot you can see that $24K is not something to jump for.
You can email me and I can provide more details on the dealers selling at this price and this may help you in your decision.
Based on the Saab prices for used cars, you should have a good amount of negociating room if you decide to buy out the lease.
