Hi
I dont think Saabs are worse than any other brand, I have had 2 93's the first is still going at 130,000 miles with NO breakdowns or faults (honestly!!) and no warranty claims apart from a broken door handle.
The other is a 2002 Tdi which now has 36000 miles again no warranty claims and no problems.
What I think you are seeing on this board is the distilled experiences of enthusiatic owners who want to share information, IMO the majority of saab owners will tell you that they are very satisfied with their cars, I certainly am.
A final thought, I bought an Apple iMac a few years ago, then I went on a users BB it was full of "problem" posts, I would never of bought one if I read these before, as it turned out the iMac was/is perfect.
Some of the posts on this board to note are the ones that comment on Audi's, BMW's etc, they certainly show that all cars have problems from time to tme.
Happy driving
Mark. London
