First off, I did not follow the instructions that were supplied. Bazooka says that the power wire must be run directly from the battery. I understand what they are getting at, but I'm not driving my sub like a 17 year old kid listening to "thump thump" music. I use mine to augment the standard system, and I don't feel a need for everyone on the block to hear my music...
Anyway, I pulled the carpet up on the drivers side in the rear, and just below the trunk light I found a connector that I'm guessing is for a CD changer. I found a red wire on the connector that was hot when the ignition is turned on. I ran that wire, and two wires that I tapped off of the speaker leads along the rear of the trunk to the side with the gas cap. This can be done very neatly by removing the plastic bump guard from the trunk lid and placing the wires under it.
Once on the passenger side of the car I tapped the speaker leads on that side and attached the ground to a ground wire that was present for the gas cap lock.
Hope that helps,
-Steve
