Reducing camber steer?

Hi,
I have a 1999 9-3SE and was wondering if there's any way to reduce the camber steer (I hope that's the correct term...basically I'm referring to the tendancy of the front wheels follow any inconsistencies in the pavement).
I don't know if the tires that came on my car are adding to this as they're listed as high performance (they're Kumho 712s), but it seems like every other car I drive is much stabler. On the contrary, I feel like when I'm driving my Saab I need to concentrate and really be aware of the steering all the time as otherwise, even when slowing down for a traffic light, the wheels my go off to the left or right on their own and possibly cause an accident. Possibly the power steering just isn't strong enough to overcome the nuances of the pavement?
I don't know if this type of steering is considered "truer" in some sense or is intended to provide a better feel for the road, but I find it somewhat nerve-racking if not potentially dangerous and would really like to reduce it if possible.
Anyhow, any thoughts would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks-
