Ok, this whole GM Cash Back is getting to be just a tad frustrating.
One would like think GM would just tell you:
As of March 1, 2003:
0.0% APR or $XXXX Cash Back, like on all their other vehicles.
But they don't of course...
GM does not have any information about Saab on their website and tells you to contact Saab directly. So I called Saab, "We can't give out that information." Since dealers are apparently at liberty to give as much or as little of it to the customer as they want they don't disclose it. I called a few dealers up and down the west coast and got answers ranging from $1000 to $2000 GM cash back for a non-GM employee (Joe Carbuyer) on a base 9-3 Linear. I didn't ask about the launch package discount or GM loyalty cash back.
I know dealers need to eat too, but could they possibly make it any more furstrating for the customer.
Saab won't even refer to it as a rebate, it's a "support program".
Has anyone checked one of the online price quote services since March 1 to see what they have the discounts listed at?
