There are only ~24 Viggens in South Africa and I have seen 2 with blown engines at dealerships(coincidentally both silver coupes). The cause of the engine failure in both cases was failure of the mass air flow sensor due to an accumulation of dirt.SAAB now insists that the element be cleaned every 15000kms.Both cars had a history of significant abuse by there owners. The one car had done 96000kms and the other 55000kms.
