If it's something you're going to change depending on ??? (e.g., racing, street, cross-country, auto-cross, etc) then adjustability MAY make changes easier. The alternative is buying additional springs & swapping 'em every time you change your setup. Stronger spring pressure will close the valve sooner, giving boost a bit sooner. Unfortunately, it also opens later, which may damage your turbo. You want it strong enough to hold boost but weak enough to open quickly when you're off-throttle.
If you're going to set-&-forget, then just get the spring that matches your setup & save the money for the Viggen IC upgrade.
But I've got the non-adjust Forge, & that's just my opinion. Here's a link over to the PerfBB about this subject. If you search over there for "adjustable" you'll get more.
