Yeah, the MTX 2120 Road Thunder amp I'm sure has been replaced by newer models. The main reason I referenced that was what I found was the thickness of the amp is the most important dimension if you want to fit it behind the passenger footwell kick-panel. It can't be much more than 2" thick, which does limit your choices (a lot). Since Alex was discussing a 50W amp to power the door speakers, there are a few 50W amps that may be small enough. The Saab OEM amp for that spot is something less than 50W and very small. Personally I think you would get better sound going with a non-OEM amp assuming you can find one to fit. If you can find a deal on a Saab OEM amp, remember that this amp is not a full range amp. It is designed to emit only the mid to low frequencies for the Saab OEM subwoofer speakers for the doors. I installed 2-way full range speakers in the doors so I needed a full-range amp.
