Hello all:
I have been the fortunate recipient of some performance parts from a fellow Saabnet member (thanks Dan C) and thought I might add my opinion of these upgrades to the wealth of info here. These boards have been very helpful.
A. Eibach Springs and rear SAS sway bar
This really tranforms the car. it feels more planted overall and more neutral around corners. I'm still running stock 15" wheels but next week my Brand New Vikings(!) and Yokohamas will be fitted. Very excited about that.
B. Saab Sport Exhaust
The sound *does* remind me of my 1980 900T. I can't really tell any performance difference, but it puts a smile on my face. I do plan on purchasing the K&N air filter later this year and that will be the extent of engine modifications.
C. General
Really happy with my Saab. I feel like now I have all the benefits of an SE in a 3-door, without the added weight and complexity of power seats, ACC and required 93 octane for good performance. It's bizarre to finally own and drive a car that really needs nothing done to improve it.
