Well, got my new tires on yesterday...figured I'd get an allignment to get the most even tread-wear right off the bat. I called a mechanic i saw off the "mechanic" list that someone recomended, and they said they usually suggest a Toe-In instead of an allignment. Fine, so I got there today, and they looked at it (Awesome place by the way...the 65+ owner wants to know where I got my hyperboost DV cause he wants to put one on his Sonnett!). They said the Toe-In was almost right on...however, by looking at it, they could see that the front tires were kind of, well, angled in at the top. in other words, the top of the tires were more towards the center than the bottom of the tires. so, if my tires were about 500 feet tall, they'd touch together at the top. How the heck did this happen, and what are solutions? i said i'd probably have them put on new lowering springs and dampers soon, and at that time, they could see if there's anything under there that could be fixed, adjusted, or corrected. as the subject says, i've never seen anyone post this before, so i'm curious to see what other's "diagnosis" are...
