My 1998 900SET sufered from coolant leaking from the right front portion of the cylinder head gasket (near the battery) at 38,000 miles. The Dealer replaced the cylinder head gasket and head bolts under warranty. I also requested that the dealer replace the engine coolant thermostat as a precautionary measure.
About 9 months later at 45,000 miles, I had a small engine oil leak from the right front corner of the cylinder head (near the battery). The Dealer diagnosed “defective lot” of head bolts used on previous repair at 38,000 miles and replaced all the head bolts.
Now the engine is at 59,000 miles and no problems.
