I was curious to know what kind of insurance rates people are getting on the new 9-3s. I'm only 23, so insurance is already pricey for me. Driving a $35,000 ride obviously will only exascerbate those rates. I'm eligble for a hefty GM discount however and am sincerely considering getting a 9-3. It is just too good a deal to pass up. I know I can afford the payments on the car, but my biggest concern is insurance. The only reason I ask is because my boss just got a 9-3 for his wife and he told me that his insurance company treats it as a sports car and charges a premium.

I'm certainly not going to pay $250 a month for insurance, so I wanted some opinions from current Saab drivers. Thanks for your help everyone!
