Why is it that we (the customers) have to edcucate dealer service reps and managers and parts managers about something as simple as a new MTF (0063)?
I have spoken to the service rep (and they offer no help re: shifting/bang drive issues also 'never heard of that stuff') the service manager (drove car/ntf and 'what MTF?) and the parts manager ('never heard of that stuff')
After speaking to all of them, I finally got them to believe me that it existed (took a copy of Nick's info from genuinesaab.com) and explained the service steps, they had never heard of multiple drain/fill before..
So, while the car is in for new struts/mounts due to knocking (SCS no help), DI Cassette failure at 62K (SCS no help) and the 6x major service, I have convinced them to do the 0063 service for the trans instead of Saab regular synth for the 6x service. I hope to smooth out some of my trans shifting issues, I know the 'bang drive' will remain..
OK, end of rant, thanks...
