1. wheels will fit without a problem, provided that you don't have rediculously wide or thick tires on your snowflake wheels.
2. don't know much about auctions...sorry.
3. clutch (and brakes, tires, etc) are wear items. If it fails due to wear, you're out the repair. Extended warranty should cover stuff like DI, heater box, exhaust, etc provided that the appropriate coverage plan has been selected (I'm going through this now, and am comparing the "basic" plan against the others)
4. nothing specific to the S aside from the heater box. Not that I've heard anyway.
5. you should be able to recoup the added investment of $1k to $1.5k when it comes time to resell. I'd be more concerned about the condition of the car at this point than about trim level (ie. I'd choose a well-maintained SE with few scratches and dings over a not-so-well maintained S, even if I didn't care about the SE option packages)
6. the steel greys and silver age incredibly well. Are you in a cold climate? You may want a lighter interior to help mask salt in the winter, but take care of the fabrics as they show dirt moreso than the darker ones. I've always been partial to the steel grey combo, but it's all personal preference. The dark blue also looks great on this car.
7. nothing that I can think of...it looks like you've got your bases covered. Can you get the car checked at a mechanic prior to sale?
Cheers,
Mark
