I'll tell you what I'm doing.. Posted by Adam [Email] (#344) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Adam) on Tue, 21 Oct 2003 10:16:44 In Reply to: Snow tire dilemma, looking for advice (long), MO, Tue, 21 Oct 2003 08:53:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a base 2000 with the 15". I don't like the wheels, but I have practically new tires. So, my local dealer is having a special. $800 for snows on 16" saab alloys. So I'm getting those, will just use them for the winter, then keep my 15's for summer, and hope they ware out, so I can then mount all seasons on the 16's.
Hopefully this will all play out, and luckily due to a healthy overtime check, I ordered my rear sway bar yesterday!
Another option, would be to sell off my 15's and then just mount new 16's on the winter rims when the time comes. But would only consider doing that if I can get enough money for the 15's to cover most of the cost for new summer 16's.
Good luck with your decision.
