Dean's post is really great. I just did mine. It's really easy. Just jack it up, remove the wheel, and remove the two retaining caps and then the screws on the rear of the caliper to remove the caliper. You'll need to make sure that you've got a 7mm allen wrench to do this, they may be stuck so use some pentrating oil (WD40, etc.) and be patient. Pry the retaining spring off of the front of the caliper with a screw driver. Rest the caliper on the tire or something similar so that it does not hang and stress the brake line. The inside pad is clipped into the caliper piston. You'll need to push the caliper piston back in into the housing before removing and installing the inside pad. Use a large channel lock plier to do this an squeeze it all the way back. Once you done this, you may have to pull hard to get the pad out or tap it with a hammer or something. The external pad may be stuck to the caliper so you may have to tap this one as well to get it off. Then you just put the new pads back in. Once you've put the new pads in, put everything back in place (same as removal). If your external pads don't have some kind of adhesive on them to hold them to the caliper you may need to apply some antiseize to the back of the pad. While your doing this check the rotors to make sure they are in good shape and use antiseize on the threads of the screws to prevent them from sticking.
As far as purchasing pads. You can get genuine saab replacement pads from Eeuroparts.com for about $75 a piece. If you are going to be driving this at all you'll want to get quality pads, don't go cheap, these are your brakes remember.
