This is easy. You don't need to remove the lens. You need an H1 bulb. There is a socket for the bulh. Get behind the foglight and twist then pull the socket. It comes out and there is enough service loop on the wire that you can get access to the bulb. As I recall, the bulb just pulls out. Check your manual again. The instructions are in my 2002 9-3 SE Manual. Daniel Stern sells foglight bulbs that are better than the stock ones for about $10 per bulb.
