Just to clarify - maybe front/rear is now out if sync.. The connector marked '2' on the speaker wire connector is the POSITIVE. The '1' is NEGATIVE, for all 4 connectors, incl. Rear Left.
Rear Left is exactly, where Haynes Workshop manual is "double wrong", which have caused some confusion.
So your rears are certainly in sync now, but are out of sync with front, unless you have #2 positive for all 4 speakers.
