Hello. Thanks Jeremy. That fact about the 2 ohm speaker is important, since some head units are not 2 ohm stable. Infact support for my alpine CD9833 says that the head unit does not support it. ALthough I doubted the knowledge of the tech I was speaking to and since he did not read anywhere that said it did not support it he made an assumption. I will try calling back later.
