My 1999, 9-3SE convertible has a very large variation.
Straight highway (NY to Washington DC in summer): 31MPG
Mix highway/round town (very easy): 26MPG
Mix highway/round town (normal, Summer): 23-24MPG
Mix highway/round town Normal (Normal,winter): 22MPG
Right now after I Changed breaks, radiator fluid, break fuild, air filter, gas filter, installed new stereo head unit and subwoffer (cold weather, requiring unpluging of battery): 18-20MPG. I just did those things, so I am not sure. If could be that I have a gas line leak (from not tighting the gas fuilter lines correcty or reusing the the copper O-rings) or the cold weather incombination with reseting the computers from unplugging the battery, or something else. ANy ideas?
20MPG is pretty low, unless you drive hard.
