I have the PZero Nero M&S on my '99 Viggen, which you said you're not looking at. I used to have Bridgestone S03 Pole Positions. The Bridgestones were far superior to the Pirellis for dry traction and cornering. The Pirellis are no better than useable in the snow, but that's a lot more than the S03 could do (and is why I went with the M&S tire this time).
The only thing I'd worry about is treadwear. Summer tires wear fast, but the summer Pirellis have a reputation for wearing out really fast. I got 25K miles from the Bridgestones. I expect better from my Pirellis, but they have a 400 treadwear rating. I've heard of people who are getting 8-10K out of their PZero Nero summer tires.
As for the load rating, unless you plan on using your Viggen as a truck, you probably won't ever be loading it heavy enough to get anywhere close to the tire's load capacity. But it is a good point, and one that most people overlook.
Good luck.
