I was out last night noticed the gas light came on and stopped to get 1/4 of a tank. It then drove across the street to eat, came out and noticed the engine light was on. A friend with me has a 9-5 and she said hers came on once when she had a sudden highway acceleration. Strangely, right before mine went on, I was backing out of a slight incline and did not gas it enough and stalled it. I think it strnage this would have anything to do with it, however. I drove it at 75MPH on the highway for 20 miles home with no hiccups or increased temp. It is now remaining on even after sitting overnight. I also checked the gas filler cap and that was tight as I heard that may cause it. This is the catch, I was ready to go on a week's vacation tomorrow and now I have to shift to a less than desirerable back-up car. I don't think it makes sense to take the risk and drive the 200 miles round-trip. My Saab dealer, of course, wants me to bring it right in.
Any reasons it might have come on? Should I not drive it any more? Thanks in advance
