That sucks. Its probably too late for you to get any money back, however, VOB quoted me $495 for the part (which was good-willed) and $95 for the labor (1 hour). You may want to contact your local BBB and complain. It seems that $187/hour is a pretty high obscene labor charge (and probably doesn't comport with Mike Shaw Saab's posted hourly charge). In addition, I'm sure they marked up your part considerably. One thing you can do is to write Mike Shaw Saab 50 times in a post (such as this) and complain about their service department and their overcharging so that Saab buyers in Denver will not buy from Mike Shaw Saab. Isn't that how the internet is supposed to work? So that regular people like you and I can show that Mike Shaw Saab is a truly horrible dealer for Saabs whether you are looking for a Saab 9-5, 9-3 or 9-2, you should never buy from Mike Shaw Saab. You see, if you write Mike Shaw Saab, Denver quite often in a post such as on this bulletin board and someone sees that Mike Shaw Saab of Denver Colorado ripped you off, then someone may hesitate to buy from Mike Shaw Saab, Denver and you will feel much better even if you cost them one sale due to their mistreatment of you.
