Okay, so I'm looking at this 2001 Saab 9-3 which is Certified Pre-Owned. I still have a 1999 Saab 9-3 CPO that I bought with 33,400 miles on it from the same exact dealer that I'm looking at that has the 2001. I haven't gone into the dealership yet, but I've e-mailed him. He e-mailed me back saying they want $17,995.00 for the 2001 9-3 CPO (5-speed, leather, 34,000 miles, On-Star equipped). I want to get him down to around $15,000.00 flat. I have seen the same exact car but with 1,000 more miles on it(also a CPO) at another dealer for $2,000.00 less and would buy from that dealer provided it wasn't 2.5 hours away and I have a great relationship with the service dept at my current dealership-they're great.
My current 1999 9-3 base CPO cost me $18,000.00 after title, liscense and what-not. It is a 5-speed, cloth interior, no On-Star. This car is a 2001 5-speed, leather, On-Star. Is there an owner-loyalty discount since I already bought a Saab or does it matter that I didn't buy the current car NEW? I will also bring up the fact that the other dealer has it for $2,000.00 less. How much do you all think that this car is worth WITH the warranty?
Thanks, I know I've been long, Andrew.
