Ordered on Tuesday, arrived Thursday. Thanks Chris!

Took my time installing and removed the wheel first. Bottom nut was easier to get to from underneath the car. Had to tighten the top piece down pretty tight to get it to match up with the bottom plate correctly, then removed top bolt and added in the brace. Oddly, I didn't need to file the hole at all. It was a perfect fit. No sweat. Took a little more than an hour start to finish.

One question: There are two washers for the brace to wheel-well attach. One for the bolt head (from inside engine bay), but where does the other go? Between other end of brace and rubber divider (inside engine bay) or at the nut (in wheel-well). I tried adding a third washer, but the nut wouldn't tighten enough - bolt too short. I just put the second at the nut. Does it even matter? The brace tightened against the rubber made the rubber pucker up a bit.

I couldn't resist. It was 11PM and the roads were empty, so I gave it a little test run. Now call me crazy, but I was actually afraid of losing ALL the torque-steer. I kinda like that "tough-to-tame" feeling in second gear - to an extent. But getting all that torque to move the car more N versus E+W is clearly preferable.

On the good-condition highway: I felt almost zero torqe-steer and that straight-forward kick was outstanding.

Slippery, bumpier, twisty, tertiary road close to home: Just enough torque-steer still present to remind you to hang on. But only with TCS off. With TCS on, almost none present. Accelerating through a sharp turn in second with TCS off has a much more controlled feeling, much more "confidence-inspiring" if you will.

Steering response improvement is subtle, but noticeable, and there is no added vibration felt through the steering wheel at all.

Coupled with the SAS rear swaybar and stickier tires I added last fall, the car feels darn close to handling like my C900.
