It'll run fine on regular, no degredation in operation. Total power availible goes down about 10%, but you may not use/need that extra 10%. Saab Trionic engine management has APC from way back in the 80's that allows a turbo Saab engine to operate effeciently on gas down to a minimum 87 octane rating.
But as Doug P. points out, by optimizing boost and timing, Saabs seem to get better mileage on premium, practically offsetting the cost difference.
Try 'em both and see if you can tell the difference.
