2000 9.3 High beam on Dr. side won't work.... Posted by Ken [Email] (#2113) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ken) on Tue, 30 Mar 2004 06:12:01 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
2000 9-3 SE 5 door. Drivers side highbeam will not work. Replaced bulb, didn't help. Read many post in this fourm about the orange relay. Pulled the relay and retouched all solder points. No help. Pulled the little grey highbeam relay and checked it with a voltmeter. Checked for voltage at the feed side of the 10 amp dr. highbeam fuse and got no power. I can hear the little grey highbeam relay picking when you brighten the lights. I would have to assume from this that the little gray relay feeds the orange relay and not vise/versa. Does this mean the orange relay (which is an electronic and not mechnical contacts type relay) is bad and I just have to replace it or did I miss something in my logic. Thanks in advance for you help.
