What I wrote earlier may not apply to your car. The relationship between RPM, PSI (boost), and IAT (intake air temp) is different on cars with auto transmissions.
The graph below shows how boost drops off with increasing rpm, and the difference between high and low intake temperatures. I saw it on a different web site, but did not make the connection to the original post. The graph is supposed to be from the WIS or some other Saab document.
Either Anders, or someone who knows more about the ecu in the cars with auto transmissions will have to explain. I have a manual, the curve is not the same.
