On a long trip check engine light came on. My spouse took it to autozone and they said it was a "slow responding O2 sensor" (I forget the exact code). She took it to an excellent mechanic, Jak Stoll in Black Mountain who replaced the sensor and looked it over carefully. He told her that there may also be some leaking gaskets. It was an rush job though so it couldn't get the second over. After several hundred miles on the way home the check engine light came on again. Now it's reading P1115 "Manufacture control Fuel Air metering". It's still getting about 30 mpg on the highway and the engine SEEMS to be running well. Anything in particular I should look for? (She's leaving on another LONG trip this weekend).
After the light first came on (after getting low on a tank of gas) she ran through a large bottle of the technic cleaner and switched to premium gas. Also of note, the car WAS in the "mountains" of WV when the light came back on.
Thanks for any advice!
Bob
