If the alternator tested OK, then I would put my money on a corroded cable, loose battery clamp, or some other type of bad connection. The cable ends at the battery are easy to check. If there is a bad connection, then the cable or clamp will be warm to the touch when the engine is running. Sometimes you can see the corrosion at the positive cable end (copper wire discolored, green, or boken).
The cable ends at the alternator and starter are more difficult to check because you have to do it from below the car (preferrably while the car is on a lift). To do this right, you have to measure the positive cable resistance from the battery terminal to the starter terminal and alternator terminal, and also from the negative battery terminal to chassis ground on the engine block.
