when PBBlaster doesn't work...what to do? Posted by Bryan [Email] (#542) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bryan) on Sat, 27 Aug 2005 10:57:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have been soaking my rear brake pins for days...they have actually welded themselves onto the caliper. I can't even get the brake line off! I am thinking that I may have to loosen (if possible) the brake line at the other end and just buy new lines and calipers. Is there any other advice before I make this expensive leap? I was told (from a Saab dealer) that it may be due to the Cleveland winters and driving only 3000 MILES PER YEAR (even though I drive it daily).
Question: When the brake line is disconnected at the caliper, how much brake fluid can I expect to lose?
Thank you!
Bryan
