I have that problem with my 99 9-3 Conv. I have taken it to the mechanic (ex-saab trained)and he replaced the Idle Control Valve at great expense and it did nothing, he then said the computer needed to be reset, that did nothing, They cleaned the fuel pipes and that did nothing......mine will actually stall but mostly it loses revs and then picks up again -- it is hard to drive in town. They plugged some diagnostic tool into the car and said that according to the computer it had not stalled

I still have the problem and have lost confidence in the mechanic but nervous to take it to Saab dealer, who typically charges $500-$1000 each time I have gone in there...
