Driving smoothly at 50 MPH in 1996 900 SE Turbo, 99k miles. Engine RPM suddenly but smoothly drops to zero and stops. Car will not re-start. Absolutely no faults of any kind occured during the months leading up to this incident. OBDII comes up with one code: p0300 -- multiple cylinder misfire. I thought DIC failures usually had some warning? This car's DI was replaced in Jan. 2000 by the previous owner. I just want to be as sure as possible before spending the $ and waiting a few days for the part to come in. Any thoughts would be very appreciated! Thank you.
