i changed my upper idler pulley this weekend hoping this would solve the bearing noise i was hearing. the serp belt looked good, so i left it alone. seemed fine until today when i heard it again at cold start. also a little "click - click - click" from that area that increases with the rpms - seems to be coming from the serp belt (like there's a sticky spot on it???) just wondering if i might be a candidate for the short belt conversion if it is the lower pulley that i'm still hearing. any thoughts?
