I had the local dealership run a warrenty claim record search on my 02 viggen vert. I purchased recently. The car is pretty clean (55k mi)and so I was supprised to see that there were some repair claims that kind of have me worried. The reason is I just bought the 6pt brace, 22mm rear bar, and steering rack brace and clamp from GS, and I would like to follow up with the 3" DP/full exhust (MP) and software from Nordic or Powerchips, but am concerned about reliability. The question is if the work done on the car prior to my ownership indicates that I will have a potentail problem. The following things were replaced (under warrently I assume), at dealer # 2154, INFO DISPLAY at 48k, THREE WAY CAT. CONV. at 32k, DI CASSETTE at 32k, CYL. HEAD ASSY. at 27k, REAR AXLE TUBE at 10k, SEAT FRAME/SEAT CHASSIS at 8 miles (the last on at dealer #7992). Are these indicators of a rough life and more future problems? or was all of the 'usual' problems already taken care of? Any input would be welcomed. Thanks, and Happy Saabing!
