Performance and safety go hand-in-hand. The Viggen engine has plenty of power though. Getting it to the road is another story.
May I suggest the Viggen Rescue Pack and rear swaybar as a start?
I guess a quick improvement would be a serial manual boost controller. Search for SMBC on this board. Also, you could just put a Window Washer Check Valve in line with the vacuum line from the intake to the BPC valve. It will improve throttle response around town but not overall power.
