Have no fear, tire cupping is due to lack of rotation ( yes possible bad shocks and or shitty tires) since you didn't indicate in your post of rotation. I will assume you did not rotate them. Tires: especially H rated or higher tires need to be rotated every 3000-5000 thousand miles. I generally do mine 6 times a year and have never had cupping issues. Cupping is caused by the back tires bouncing (weighting and unweighting) as they go down the road. The front tires have the engine body weight on them, driven by the tourque of the engine. The back tires on the other hand just kind of roll along, think for amoment of this analogy. If you have ever been behind a truck pulling aboat trailer with no boat in it- you'll see that the boat trailer tires are bouncing down the road while spinning.
The same holds true for front wheel drive cars-Simply you need to keep them rotated. Good luck.
Ps Some of the warehouse clubs like costco offer performance tires with life time rotation and balancing- this can good in your case with high mileage.
how ever if you use this service insist on the club of Hand tighten/touque the lug nuts. I know costco does or did.
