hydraulic clutch or slave cylinder

I had the slave cylinder and clutch replaced almost 2 years ago on a 2001 9-3SE. Car has 72,000 miles.
About 8 months ago, after stop and go traffic, my clutch wouldn't disengage allowing me to shift gears. Then it was fine after letting the car sit for a couple hours.
I immediately had the master cylinder/hydraulic clutch system bled and put in new fluid. It has been fine ever since. Until today it's starting to act up again.
Does this sound like the master cylinder is going out? The brakes work fine. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and replace the M/C before I can't shift at all, and hope the slave cylinder is OK.
Thanks for any insight!
