You might have a bad coolant thermostat that allow the engine to run too cold at all times.
That will make the fuel mixture biased toward rich due to the adaptive learning capabilities of the fuel computer.
You might not even see the coolant temp difference since the gauges on these newer cars have a built in "min/max needle in the middle" system.
Car makers got tired of customers complaining about every difference that the temp gauge was displaying from day to day driving so when the technology was easily available they introduced the system where the needle stays in the middle under a certain temp range and then suddenly the gauge jumps up or down the the new level when the threshold has been reached.
You can adjust those threshold values with a Tech 2 scanner to get a more lively or dead temp gauge.
